What is the difference between PMS Online and the National Scholarship Portal (NSP)?

PMS Online (pmsonline.bih.nic.in) is a state-level portal operated by the Government of Bihar for state-funded Post Matric Scholarships. The National Scholarship Portal (scholarships.gov.in) is a central government platform that hosts centrally sponsored scholarship schemes including the Central Sector Scheme and Post Matric Scholarship for SC students funded by the Ministry of Social Justice. Some Bihar students are eligible for both, but they cannot receive both simultaneously for the same course and year. Students should determine which scheme offers greater benefit for their category and apply accordingly, ensuring they do not submit duplicate applications across both portals for the same academic year.
