Framer integration

Connect Auto SEO to Framer

About 9 minutes. Auto SEO uses Framer's CMS API to publish articles into your collection, preserving design tokens and component styles.

  1. 1

Open your Framer site's API panel

From the Framer editor, open Site Settings → API. Generate a new API token scoped to your CMS.

  2. 2

    Find your collection slug

In Framer, locate the CMS Collection where blog posts live. Its slug appears in your collection settings.

  3. 3

    Connect in Auto SEO

Integrations → Framer → Add. Paste your API token, the site domain, and the collection slug.

  4. 4

    Choose field mappings

Map Auto SEO output (title, slug, body, hero, summary, SEO meta) to your Framer collection fields.

  5. 5

    Decide draft vs publish

We recommend draft mode for your first 5 articles. Once you trust the output, flip the toggle to auto-publish.

What gets published

  • Body content as Framer-friendly rich text (blocks for headings, lists, quotes, images).
  • Hero image uploaded to Framer's asset store.
  • Slug, summary, SEO title, meta description.
  • Tags / category references — Framer will auto-link related posts on your blog index.

Troubleshooting

If posts publish but the body renders as plaintext, double-check that your CMS field is configured as Rich Text, not Plain Text. For staging sites, publish actions require the staging URL — set it in your integration's advanced settings.
