Webflow integration
Connect Auto SEO to Webflow
About 10 minutes. Auto SEO maps to a CMS Collection of your choice and publishes articles as draft or live items.
- 1
Generate a Webflow API token
Webflow Dashboard → Workspace settings → Integrations → API access. Create a token scoped to the target site.
- 2
Identify your Blog Collection ID
Open the CMS collection in Webflow Designer. The collection ID appears in the URL after /collections/. Copy it.
- 3
Add the integration in Auto SEO
Integrations → Webflow → Connect. Paste your API token and the Collection ID.
- 4
Match fields
Map Auto SEO's title → name, content → rich-text body, slug → slug, summary → summary, hero → main image, and SEO fields.
- 5
Set publish behavior
Choose draft (recommended for review) or live publish. Articles inherit your design system automatically.
What gets published
- Rich-text body that respects your Webflow style classes.
- Hero image (uploaded to Webflow Assets).
- Slug, summary, SEO title and meta description.
- Optional fields: author reference, category, reading time.
- Open Graph image and JSON-LD via Webflow custom code embed.
Troubleshooting
If publish fails with field validation errors, double-check that your Webflow collection has the required fields populated for each map target. For staging-only sites, switch the integration mode to 'staging' so Auto SEO doesn't trigger a live publish.
