Zid integration

Connect Auto SEO to Zid

AutoSEO connects to Zid through an HTTPS webhook relay. You need an endpoint that receives the article and writes it into your store or site; this connection requires a configured relay.

  1. 1

    Set up the destination workflow

Choose your Zid content destination and implement the publishing action in your relay. Configure destination authorization in the relay, rather than exposing store credentials in article content.

  2. 2

    Create a secure HTTPS receiver

Build or configure an endpoint that accepts POST JSON. Use a signing secret and verify X-AutoSEO-Signature against the raw request body.

  3. 3

    Add the relay to AutoSEO

In Publishing → Connections, choose Zid. Enter your receiver URL and the same signing secret used by your receiver.

  4. 4

    Test without publishing test content

Handle connection.test as a reachability check only. For article.published, map the article into your CMS and return a successful HTTP response.

  5. 5

    Review the published destination

Publish a reviewed article and open its destination URL. Use the source article externalId or slug to update an existing post when it is published again.

What gets published

  • Article title and HTML content, with excerpt and URL slug when present.
  • SEO fields and structured data supplied in the delivery payload.
  • Publishing depends on your relay mapping and the destination API permissions.

Troubleshooting

Use the webhook reference for the payload and signature checks. If a delivery fails, inspect the receiver response, URL, signing secret, and destination API permissions.
